Bed & Breakfast in Herefordshire at The Old Rectory

The Old Rectory, Abbey Dore, nestles in the south end of the Golden Valley of Herefordshire, three miles from Wales and the Black Mountains.  Beyond the Black Mountains rise the Brecon Beacons, all wonderful walking country for Bed and Breakfast visitors.

This old red stone Herefordshire house, with its generous rooms and large windows, lends itself to enjoyable Bed and Breakfasting. The two spacious AA Inspected bedrooms have their own individual and connected bath and shower rooms.    

Long lawns set off stately giant trees and contrast the kitchen garden and orchard. The whole garden is framed in meadows and pasture and stands along side the village church, the famous remains of a Cistercian Monastery.

Local produce and our hens help us provide a full 'English' breakfast, giving the best of starts to a day of exploring and walking in Herefordshire and Wales.
